Verse 1:
Unto the hills around do I lift up my longing eyes:
O whence for me shall my salvation come, from whence arise?
From God the Lord doth come my certain aid,
from God the Lord, who heav’n and earth hath made.

He will not suffer that thy foot be moved: safe shalt thou be.

Location Change for Lessons

Announcing an exciting change in how lessons will be handled:
We have teamed up with Carolina Conservatory on Batesville Road in Greer to teach lessons for our students–in this way, we can offer an even broader array of lessons–piano, voice, guitar, violin, clarinet and flute.
Now, when you request information about lessons, those requests will be routed to the appropriate personnel at Carolina Conservatory who will respond to your request promptly.
I met with the ladies at Carolina Conservatory recently–they are very friendly and have wonderful studio space with well-qualified teachers. Ages child through adult are welcome, the door is always open–parents, you can sit in on your child’s lesson at any time.

Piano Keys

Now that we’ve seen the notes on the staff, let’s take a look at which piano keys correspond to these notes. Middle C on the piano is the white key to the left of the set of two black keys that is closest to the middle of the piano. The other keys go in the order of the music alphabet. When the notes go higher on the staff, you move to the right on the piano. When the notes go lower on the staff, you move to the left on the piano.
